Bump Things: 27 Weeks and our Website Shoot

October 28th, 2014

Dress – Target Maternity // Shawl + Booties – TJMaxx // Hat – Forever 21 (similar) // Necklace – Forever 21 (Similar)

This is one of the outfits that I put together when Becca and I were shooting for the new website.

To me it screams 27 weeks because a) It covers so much skin, which feels comfortable when you feel like a blimp b) It’s super tight on the inside, and super flowey on the outside (this is how my pregnancy wardrobe would be described, if it were a donut) and 3) It still has personality. Lest we forget who we are, just because most maternity clothes have 0 personality.

Becca and I took these shots a few blocks from our houses, during a high traffic time of day. If you don’t know anything about where I live, you can read more beautiful words on that at Becca’s personal blog. There were plenty of folks who almost got in car accidents, because they were looking at how dead sexy I was so curious and confused by what we were doing. Or maybe it was my shawl. Maybe we may never know. In any case, we had a few really hearty laughs and took away a lot of really gorgeous photos, thanks to my very talented neighbor.
